Apple Promises Tablet for Family

Just like desktop computers of yesteryear, Apple expects its upcoming tablet to be a family device. Just that intention alone makes looking forward to the device exciting. With the Web cam on board, WSJ sources claim the tablet can do facial recognition and switch to the person’s account automatically. Once logged in, they can browse the Internet, check email, read news, play games and multitask with host of other digital content. The tablet isn’t expected to replace a notebook computer, but it will certainly make computing more interactive and fun for the entire family.
Apple may also introduce the ability to leave digital sticky notes from one family member to another, which will connect family members together through a shared, personalized device. Apple wins again with a grand, noble vision. Unfortunately, it’s unclear if Apple will introduce these features next week at the exclusive, invite-only press event, or gradually roll out such features through scheduled updates.
