Just a short time ago we reported on news of the Apple tablet coming to Verizon. Now a new report is shedding light on speculation that Apple-Verizon deal might not actually come to fruition. Despite being kept out of the spotlight directly, two analysts shared insights on the Verizon-AT&T tablet deal with news that some might find disturbing. The concerns come down to GSM and CDMA-based network differences.

I think the above linked piece is onto something. Think about it – why provide a specially designed tablet just for Verizon? Just utilize T-Mobile and AT&T, instead, considering T-Mobile and AT&T both offer GSM networks. This means the same Apple tablet configuration can work with these networks without the need for additional models.
