Truphone: Among the First VoIP Apps for the Nexus One

Apparently beating out both Skype and Google Voice, Truphone has released their VoIP app for the Nexus One. According to TechCrunch, Truephone is one among the limited few VoIP applications for the media-friendly Nexus One phone from Google.

What does this mean to you?

Clearly, we want to see other VoIP choices added to this list, especially since we’d prefer to have the folks we are calling already using them ahead of time. That aside, I think that Truphone is a pretty good option for Android users that is worth the time, assuming it’s a good fit for you or not for use on the Nexus One.
